Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience® is a registered trademark owned by a sole proprietorship, tax ID number 254 220 703, based at Rua Manuel Guedes 93, Monção. This brand is registered with the National Registry of Tourist Animation Agents (RNAAT) under license no. 1084/2024, identifying the organized activities and services provided.

The conditions described below regulate the relationship between Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience® and the person or entity purchasing its services. Registration for any of the activities implies the reading, knowledge, and acceptance of these general conditions. These general conditions may be complemented by specific conditions sent to the client. By contracting Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience®, the client acknowledges and accepts all established Terms and Conditions.

Responsibility | Insurance

RNAAT Registration: No. 1084/2024

Civil Liability Insurance (Policy No. 1024181160 – Generali Tranquilidade)

All professional activities are covered by civil liability insurance, which covers both property and non-property damages that may be attributed to us during our operations, with an insured amount of €50,000.00.

Group Personal Accident Insurance (Policy No. 1024193700 – Generali Tranquilidade)

All participants in activities carried out by Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience® are covered by personal accident insurance:

€24,205.00 in the event of death or total and permanent disability
€4,635.00 for treatment expenses

Accidents and Activation of Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)

All insurance held by Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience® can be activated during the activity in which the client is registered. The coverage period starts on the date and time stated in the program and ends on the day and time the participant leaves the activity, even if they leave early or rejoin later. Clients wishing to leave an activity must inform the Green Odyssey guide.

Activatable accidents are those that occur as a result of the normal development of the activity described in the program or any change introduced to it by Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience®.

The following situations are excluded from PAI coverage:

When the client is performing activities outside the scope of the program or engaging in unnecessary risk behaviors
When the client disobeys the guide’s instructions and independently deviates from the route or program

All accidents subject to PAI coverage must be reported to the insurance company within 48 hours after the activity ends.

Transportation

All activities developed by Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience® always include transportation.

Private Groups | Companies

Proposals for private groups or companies depend on Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience®’s availability and are subject to a prior quote. The presented values will depend on:

Number of participants
Type of tour
Tour duration
Associated costs – changes to the original tour
Other variable factors

Programming

The tour proposals and programs (price, location, itinerary, detailed description, other information…) are valid only for the indicated dates. Tour participants must be aware of the details of the respective activity.

The description of the tours presented on the Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience® website and in the proposals sent to clients will be explicit. However, their content may change due to external factors relating to the time of year and weather conditions. Any changes to the program will be communicated to clients in good time.

Schedule

The duration of the tours is indicative and corresponds to an estimate, which may change due to external factors such as group configuration, diversity of participants, weather and terrain conditions, or unforeseen events. Therefore, the indicated end time is approximate.

Regarding transportation, delays and liability:

The transportation of participants is provided exclusively by Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience®, in its own vehicles, guaranteeing comfort and safety throughout the experience;
We ask clients to be at the agreed meeting point at the exact start time of the tour. However, we understand that unforeseen events may occur, so we apply a maximum tolerance of 15 minutes;
After this period, the tour must start without the delayed participants, so as not to compromise the experience of the other clients;
If a participant does not show up within the tolerance time and does not contact us in advance, it will be considered a “no-show” and there will be no refund;
If there are significant delays caused by circumstances beyond the client’s control (e.g. public transport delays), we recommend that you contact us as soon as possible to assess a possible solution.

Registration | Reservation | Payment

All tours listed on the Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience® website are owned and sold by the brand Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience®.

Reservations must be made solely and exclusively through the following methods:

Filling in the online booking form [you should bear in mind that you will be asked for the following details when you register: ‘Name and Surname’; ‘E-mail’ and ‘Contact Number’;
For insurance purposes, your online registration is compulsory. If you do not register, you will not be able to take part in the activity;
Payment is made at the end of registration, using one of the methods available on the website. After making your booking, you will receive an automatic confirmation email – info@greenodysseytours.com – which will contain all the terms and conditions, prices and detailed information about the tour;
If you would like a receipt to be issued with your VAT number, this should be requested in response to the confirmation email sent after the booking has been confirmed;
In the case of activities for “private groups/companies”, you should send an email to: info@greenodysseytours.com, in order to obtain quotations and personalized information.

When registering/booking, participants make several commitments to Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience®:

That they have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions of Participation, as well as the details of the activity in which they are signing up, which constitute the particular conditions of participation in the tour;
That they are in a fit state of health for the activity in question and accept the nature of it, as well as the risks arising from the impossibility of immediate access to medical assistance;
That you are aware of the physical and psychological demands that the adventure activity may involve and that may lead to unforeseen situations;
Always inform us if you suffer from any chronic or other illness that prevents you from practicing this activity. If you have your doctor’s permission to take part, you will need to provide us with a medical certificate;
In the case of the Adventure Experience, this is mostly aimed at people who have some tolerance for risk and are used to practicing adventure experiences (and/or other related activities) and who are physically, mentally and emotionally prepared for the level of demand of the program they are signing up for;
Under no circumstances should you sign up for any Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience® tour if you have physical or other problems that could limit your performance, thus jeopardizing your physical integrity as well as that of the group you are part of. For reasons of individual and collective safety, this lack of physical, mental and emotional preparation may prevent you from taking part in a particular activity or all of them.

Some of the special booking conditions that apply to our experiences are:

minimum age: Our tours are designed for adults, so the recommended minimum age is 18. However, families traveling with children can contact us in advance to assess the suitability of the tour and possible adjustments;
Alcohol consumption: On tours that include wine tastings or other alcoholic beverages, participation in these activities is exclusively for people over 18;
Pregnant women: Some experiences include uneven terrain or adventure activities. We recommend that pregnant women assess their participation in advance and inform us at the time of booking, so that we can advise on the best options within the itinerary;
Safety and comfort: The well-being of our clients is our priority. If you have any specific needs, please contact us and we will try to adjust the experience whenever possible.

Changes | Cancellations | Refunds

If it is necessary to change or cancel a tour due to reasons beyond the control of Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience® – such as extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, etc. – we will inform participants as soon as possible, and a new date will be proposed, subject to conditions on the rescheduled day.

Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience® reserves the right to alter or cancel activities in the following cases:

For operational or safety reasons, Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience® reserves the right to change the route or replace an activity with another of equivalent value, without the need for a refund;
The minimum number of registrations for the tour does not exist;
Weather or other conditions make it impractical;
The safety conditions we consider necessary for the activity are not met;
The conditions set out in the special conditions are not met;
The guides are unable to accompany the activity due to force majeure.

In case of cancellation by the client:

Cancellations made up to 24 hours before the start of the tour are entitled to a full refund, without penalty;
The refund will be processed automatically to the same payment method used in the booking, within a maximum of 7 working days. If the refund is not received within this period, the client should contact Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience® at info@greenodysseytours.com
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the start of the tour are not eligible for a refund, except in exceptional cases (e.g. proven medical emergency, flight cancellation);
In the event of a no-show, without prior notice, there will be no refund.

Safety Rules

In its activities, Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience® strictly complies with safety regulations, reducing the risks associated with them. However, participants should bear in mind that due to the nature of the activities carried out, there is always some inherent risk that cannot be reduced in its entirety, so the participant must also adopt a preventive behavior. Participants in the activities must comply with the appropriate rules of conduct and safety in order to guarantee their well-being and that of the group. Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience® and its guides will not be held responsible for improper/inadequate behavior on the part of participants during the activities, but may terminate an activity if safety conditions or standards of conduct are compromised.

Participant responsibilities include:

Comply with and respect the instructions and information provided by the organization, as well as the regulations in force at all the sites visited;
Participants are responsible for bringing clothing and footwear suitable for the activity they have signed up for. Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience® is not responsible for any incidents arising from the use of inappropriate clothing or footwear.
Respect the established timetables, as well as respecting the other participants in the activity, whether they are guides or participants;
ensure that you are in good health to carry out the activities – certain activities require the verification of certain conditions in the person carrying them out, such as minimum age, state of health and other physical and psychological requirements, and you must inform us in advance of any health problems or specific needs;
respect the rules of conduct and good practices of visitors in protected areas – ICNF, ensuring nature conservation.

In order to guarantee an enjoyable and safe experience for all participants, Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience® reserves the right to terminate the participation of any client who displays inappropriate behavior, without the right to a refund.

We consider inappropriate behavior to include, but not limited to:

Disrespect towards the guide, other participants or local partners;
Excessive intoxication by alcohol or substances that compromise the safety or well-being of the group;
Refusal to follow safety instructions or other guidelines essential to the smooth running of the tour;
Behavior that puts the experience of other participants at risk, including disturbing the group environment.

Use of Photographs | Images | Videos

The activities carried out by Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience® are recorded photographically, so any participant can see themselves included in the photographs/images and videos. These photographs/images and videos may be used by the company to promote its services, on the internet – website and Instagram and Facebook pages, in flyers, brochures and posters;
If you do not agree with this policy, you must inform Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience® by email: info@greenodysseytours.com – that you do not authorize the use of your photographs/images and videos to promote our events, either on the website and/or on the Instagram and Facebook pages;
If you want to see your photographs/images and videos published with your credits, you must always put your name on them.

Green Odyssey – Private Tour Experience® reserves the right to alter, suspend or discontinue this website or part of its contents without prior notice, and is not responsible if it is unavailable for a certain period of time.
